Thyme
Thyme is a savory herb with earthy, minty, and slightly lemony flavors.
Common in Mediterranean, French, and Cajun cuisine, it pairs beautifully with meats, beans, soups, and roasted vegetables.
Recipe: Lemon Thyme Chicken Broth
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp R.L. Schreiber Chicken Base
- 1 tsp R.L. Schreiber Thyme
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 4 cups water
Directions:
Bring water to a boil and stir in chicken base.
Add thyme and lemon juice.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Use as a sipping broth , soup starter or to cook rice or couscous.
