French Onion Soup Mix & Poultry and Meat Rub

Recipe: French Onion Roasted Chicken Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken (about 4 lbs.)
  • 3 tbsp R.L. Schreiber Poultry and Meat Rub
  • 3 tbsp R.L. Schreiber French Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 cup of water

Instructions:                                                                                                           

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Blend Poultry and Meat Rub with the French Onion Soup Mix
  3. Rub the entire chicken with the blended Poultry and Meat Rub and the French Onion Soup Mix.
  4. Place the chicken in a roasting pan and add water.
  5. Roast uncovered for 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Baste occasionally and serve hot.
